Joy has been part of Melissa’s team since 2014. Prior to May of 2014, she worked in the State Farm Corporate arena for 38 years in several positions throughout the years: a policy typist, a group insurance benefits representative, claims processor, and an administrative assistant.
Joy is married, has two adult children, and five grandchildren. She loves spending time with her grandchildren with special weekend sleepovers and loves cooking for her family.
At the office, she strives to provide impeccable customer service with every customer she comes in contact with. When she reaches out to them for whatever reason, it’s important they know we care about their current issue---good or not so good--- and we are here to help resolve and work through it with hopefully a positive and favorable outcome. Joy is a firm believer that good communication and building trust on a daily basis are essential in maintaining good relationships with every customer.

She enjoys helping people wherever she goes and especially likes to help policyholders uncover their needs and fill in the gaps to make sure they are insured accurately in the event of a loss.
She is a Delaware native and has four adult children and 5 grand-dogs.
When she is not spending time with her family and friends, she volunteers with Meals on Wheels and in theaters from The Grand and Playhouse in Wilmington to The Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia.
